Word (Microsoft Office 2021)has a number of formatting and page layout choices that modify how material looks on the page. The page orientation, paper size, and page margins may all be changed to suit how you want your document to look.
Orienting the page

Page width

1.Go to the Layout tab and select Size. From the drop-down option, choose More Paper Sizes.

3.Click OK after modifying the Width and Height settings.
4.The document’s page size will be altered.
Margins on pages
The area between the text and the edge of your document is known as a margin. The margins of a new document are by default set to Normal, which leaves one inch between the text and each edge. You may alter the margin size in Word to suit your requirements.
Margin formatting for pages:
There are several default margin widths available in Word.
1.Click the Margins command after choosing the Layout tab.
2.There will be a drop-down menu. Select the desired default margin size by clicking.
The document’s margins will be adjusted.
To employ unique margins:
Additionally, Word’s Page Setup dialog box lets you change the margin size.
1.Click Margins on the Layout tab. Custom Margins should be chosen in the drop-down option.
2.You’ll see the Page Setup dialog box.
3.Click OK after modifying the values for each margin.
4.The document’s margins will be adjusted.
By selecting the Layout tab and pressing the little arrow in the Page Setup group’s lower-right corner, you can also access the Page Setup dialog box.
